Lessons from the book "Who will Cry When You Die?"

Who Will Cry When You Die?
by Robin Sharma

It is an inspiring book with short and easy to read life lessons. By reading this book, you will enjoy and get motivation. The book offers 101 short advices on spending a meaningful life, acquiring productive habits, being grateful, concentrating on the priorities and others.

The author extracts the lesson from his experiences, life stories, and the thoughts of great people. If you are the reader of self-help books, you will find similar ideas that you have already seen in other books. Although you have already read or heard about the most advices in this book, I think it is good repetition and refreshing your mind once again. I highly recommend this book.

Here are my lessons and thought after reading this book.

  1. Talk to yourself, teach yourself by talking and explaining. Give serious questions to yourself and answer it. It helps to examine yourself, correct your vision, identify priorities in your life.
  2. Find out your ideals, people you follow or want to be with. Learn their lessons and apply them.
  3. Generally, life is full of risks. Never afraid to take the estimated risks.
  4. Learn to enjoy the process, the result is a gift of your hard work.
  5. What is your price if you put it on the market? Work on to increase your values.
  6. What is your code of conduct for your days?
  7. Be humble whoever you are.
  8. Learn to be silent.
  9. You are not supposed to pick up every phone call. Do not make yourself easily interruptable in your work and thoughts.
  10. Do not limit yourself by thinking about tiny things.

Thank you for reading!

P.S. Robin Sharma is a writer and motivational speaker. You can find a lot of useful self-help tips on his blog. I used to listen to his inspirational video lectures before.
