Hardship is not a stress

What makes us stressful? Difficulty? Pain? Is it nonstop problems that we are facing in our everyday life? The fact is that hardship, pain, and problems always exist with us in this world. This can be confirmed by looking at a long history of human life.
Then how we have to deal with them? I would suggest two steps to deal with them appropriately:
  1. Right perception
  2. Positive Channeling
Perception is how we accept and label (good, bad, or normal) the events around us.
Our perception makes the problem as a problem, a hardship as a hardship.
However, with a little change in our perception, we may see the problem as a new experience, hardship as a chance to grow. It is about how we look at and perceive the events around us. Thus the right perception may change the whole story.

Our reaction to a particular event is developed by the factor that we generated through our perception. The "factor" is the main contributor to our response. If it is positive, the reaction is also positive and constructive, if it is not, the reaction is also similar to factor type.
If the perception factor changes our reaction, then we have to focus on generating positive, and workable factors to the events. With this, we can channel our perception positively.

If we accept a certain hardship as stress, then we perceive it as bad luck, another evil, or blaming something or someone. Since it is not a solution to the hardship, our reaction will become only stress. Instead, we need to search a solution, or at least keep our cool toward the hardship and stay positive then the reaction will not be a stressful anymore.

Summary
  • Know hardship and difficulties are always exist with us in this world.
  • Hardship is not a stress, it is us making it stressful.
  • Our reaction to the events comes from our perception factor.
  • Positive change in perception makes the positive reaction.
